New Safari Browser

Safari..is here, or via Software Update.

This is the second public beta release. The most notable improvement is tabbed browsing. I may never need to use Camino (the browser formally known as Chimera) again. Other improvements include forms autofill (haven’t tried it yet). It of course has some bugs fixed (I can check my webmail now Yea!), and renders a few things better.

The only notable problem I still have is that the <base> tag doesn’t work. I use this tag on this site I designed to simplify the backend.

Also if you are using PithHelmet (and I suggest you do to block ads), you should upgrade. You should anyway since PithHelmet has a much improved interface and better blocking rules.tabbed_browsing.gif
