Watching TV

Mixed TV tonight.

 Buffy: Faith came back and the lead actor from Firefly (Nathan Fillon) guest starred. And exciting suspensful epsiode all around. They even let a few minor characters die and a major character got injured. I am glad Buffy finally got really good again.

 24: I loved this show last season, but what the hell is going on now? The country *has* to go to war in 3 hours? I know they “explained” that troops would die if they didn’t attack right away, but it still makes no sense. Even Bush, who has a hard on for war as much as anyone, waited a few days before attacking Afghanistan after 9/11. Also this stupid “palace coup” crap with the president has to stop. Although I guess the show is right that the President can be removed, at least temporarily, by his cabinet, or “the principal officers of the executive departments” (I thought they were mistaken at first), I don’t think they would remove him at 5 in the morning for failing to start a war within hours.
