Bush May Be a Write-In

Due to the lateness of the Republican convention, Bush may have to be write-in candidate in several states since his nomination will happen after their deadlines. This has already been reported about Alabama, but there may be issues in DC, West Virginia, and California. Some places are trying to change the law to allow Bush to be on the ballot, others are doing nothing. I imagine Alabama will be more accommodating than DC. I’d hate to give advice to the Republicans (although I doubt any are reading this blog) but a solution could involve having a “republican candidate” on the ballot instead of specifically “George W. Bush.”

This is entirely the Republicans fault. They should have been aware of the states deadlines, and they shouldn’t expect the states to accommodate them. They wanted to have the convention late so that they could use the 3rd anniversary of 9/11 right after their convention here in New York, to emphasize national security as an issue.. They should accept the consequences.

Got a postal mail address on someone? There are thousands of sites
willing to send free samples, bibles, pamphlets, sales catalogs, so
load up a proxy, fill out a form and send that governmental moron a
message from the people. Do you get packets of coupons? Wear
gloves and fill out a few in the name of your favorite governmental
person who has done so much to screw over the American way of
life. Have a way to add someone to a telemarketer list? Do it.

Crawford address? Post it. And don’t stop with the top dogs, is
there a DA in your area stomping on human rights? Is your state rep,
mayor, state judge, or any other governmental person been doing some
shady backroom deals? Are you paying for it? Oh, wait, if you are
paying taxes, then I suppose you are! Post those address too. The
more the merrier and hopefully with enough anonymous speech by the
people, they might wake up and realize WE are not very happy and WE
can make their lives as much hell as they are making ours.

If you are going to waste my tax dollars, at least I get a say
in how they uselessly get spent,
